Making a print from a 35mm negative using Ilford Multigrade RC Deluxe glossy paper. Traditional silver prints are beautiful. Watching the image form in the developer is like watching the birth of a new life.

Darkroom printing is easy to learn, the hardest part is finding a darkroom. These prints were made at Rozelle Darkroom in January 2021. I've recently (January 2024) heard that the darkroom is closing. I first made prints at Rozelle in the mid 1980s, and even taught a few developing and printing classes there. In 2020 I discovered that Rozelle darkroom was still open, became a member, and developed these prints there and ran a couple of developing and printing classes. It's sad to hear it's going.
