Amsterdam
Amsterdam adalah kota terbesar sekaligus ibu kota Belanda. Posisi Amsterdam saat ini sebagai ibu kota Kerajaan Belanda diatur oleh konstitusi 24 Agustus 1815 dan penerusnya. Amsterdam memiliki jumlah penduduk sebanyak 980.876 jiwa di dalam batas kota, populasi perkotaan 1.209.419 jiwa dan populasi metropolitan 2.158.592 jiwa. Kota ini terletak di provinsi Holland Utara di sebelah barat negara ini. Wilayah Amsterdam mencakup bagian utara Randstad, salah satu konurbasi terbesar di Eropa dengan jumlah penduduk sekitar 7 juta jiwa.

Jakarta
Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta (DKI Jakarta) adalah ibu kota negara dan kota terbesar di Indonesia. Jakarta merupakan satu-satunya kota di Indonesia yang memiliki status setingkat provinsi. Jakarta terletak di pesisir bagian barat laut Pulau Jawa. Dahulu pernah dikenal dengan beberapa nama di antaranya Sunda Kelapa, Jayakarta, dan Batavia. Di dunia internasional Jakarta juga mempunyai julukan J-Town, atau lebih populer lagi The Big Durian karena dianggap kota yang sebanding New York City (Big Apple) di Indonesia.

Dili
Dili adalah ibu kota sekaligus kota terbesar di Timor Leste. Dili terletak di pesisir utara Pulau Timor. Jumlah penduduknya diperkirakan mencapai 163.305 jiwa (Januari 2006). Saat Timor Timur masih merupakan bagian dari Indonesia, Dili memiliki status kota administratif dan merupakan bagian dari Kabupaten Dili. Saat ini, Dili merupakan salah satu distrik di Timor Leste.

Jakarta
The Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKI Jakarta) is the national capital and the largest city in Indonesia. Jakarta is the only city in Indonesia that has provincial-level status. Jakarta is located on the northwest coast of Java Island. In the past, several names were known, including Sunda Kelapa, Jayakarta, and Batavia. In the international world, Jakarta also has the nickname J-Town, or more popularly The Big Durian because it is considered a city that is comparable to New York City (Big Apple) in Indonesia.

Dili
Dili is the capital and largest city in Timor Leste. Dili is located on the north coast of Timor Island. The total population is estimated at 163,305 people (January 2006). When East Timor was still part of Indonesia, Dili had the status of an administrative city and was part of the Dili District. Currently, Dili is a district in Timor Leste.
