The Nantucket Historical Association, in partnership with the National Park Service (NPS) and the Rome-based International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), hosted a symposium at the NHA’s Whaling Museum on December 8, which was open to the public and free of charge, as well as live-streamed on the NHA YouTube Channel.

The symposium was a community forum to explore the latest international and domestic efforts to address the impacts of climate change on cultural heritage and historic materials.
