Diplomatic War After Argentina’s Milei Says Bolivia “Faked” its Coup | Firstpost America
The Bolivian government summoned the Argentine ambassador on Monday to address claims that last week's attempted military coup was a hoax. Bolivia's official reprimand of its neighbour adds to the fallout from the purported foiled mutiny last Wednesday that has left the country of 12 million shocked and bewildered. Right-wing Argentine President Javier Milei became the first head of state to join the chorus of sceptics, attacking Bolivia's history of socialist governments which he said endangers democracy. Now, Brazil and Venezuela have slammed Argentina for alleging that the Coup was “Staged”. Meanwhile, Former President Evo Morales also accused Bolivian President Luis Arce of faking the coup to gain political sympathy.
