This war was not born here, in our land. This war was brought to us by the children of the Great Father, who came to take our land without asking the price, and that, here, did many bad things. The Great Father and his children blame us for these problems ...
Our desire was to live here, in our land, peacefully, and do everything possible for the welfare and prosperity of our people. But the Father Grande filled it with soldiers who thought only in our death.
Some of our people that left here so that it can change something, and others who went north to hunt, were attacked by the soldiers of this direction and, when they reached the north, were attacked by soldiers on the other side. And now, wanting to go back, the soldiers interposed to prevent them from returning home.
It seems to me that there is a better way than this. When people go into shock, the better for both sides is gathered together without weapons and talk about it, and find a peaceful way to resolve.

If not for the massacre, there would be a lot more people here right now. But, after this massacre, who could stand?
When I made peace with the Lieutenant Whitman, my heart was too big and happy. The people of Tucson and San Xavier must be crazy. They acted as if they had heads or hearts. They must have seat of our blood.
These people of Tucson wrote for newspapers and told his story.
The Apaches have no one to tell your story.

Where today are the Pequot? Where are the naples, the Mohicans, the Pokanoket and many other powerful once tribes of our people?
Disappeared before the avarice and oppression of the white man, as snow before a summer sun.
We'll let us destroy, in turn, without a struggle, give up our homes, our land given by the Great Spirit, the graves of our dead and to all that we hold dear and sacred?
I know they will yell at me: Never! Never !
