Magadi Soda lies on the shore of the salt lake Magadi in South Kenya. It's the hottest place in the country and is a Maasai community built exclusively for the soda processing. It has its own housing blocks and recreation and one of the few rock golf courts in the world. The soda is transported out via a dedicated railway line to the shore at Mombasa.
