π¨ Welcome to another exciting woodturning journey! In today's video, I take you through the detailed process of creating a gorgeous candle holder using premium walnut wood. Watch as I start by cutting precise strips of walnut on a table saw, then refine them with a miter saw for perfect alignment.
π Next, I place these strips into a beautifully CNC-carved walnut base using CA glue, ensuring a flawless fit. But that's just the beginning! I then encase the entire assembly in a durable rubber mold and pour in Promise Epoxy, a top-notch epoxy resin known for its clarity and strength.
β³ After the curing process, it's time for the magic of turning! I mount the cured piece on my lathe, meticulously shaping it into the final elegant form. The transformation is mesmerizing!
ποΈ To finish, I apply a high-quality lacquer for a glossy, protective finish that enhances the wood's natural beauty. The result is not just a candle holder but a piece of art that adds a touch of elegance to any room.
