We chose not to hire a professional to build this shower & because I knew enough about tile work, I tackled it myself. It’s not perfect but for a DIY’er, I think it turned out really nice. I love the outcome & it saved us a ton of money. This shower build cost us around $1,100. I found a great deal on the Travertine tile at a store in Chase, KS when I was there for work & bought more than I needed just to make sure I didn’t run short. We chose not to add glass doors to the shower & so far no regrets on that decision. We live the size & the open space it brings.
