This is a simple type of agricultural robot. which was used in the Field Robot Event 2014 organized by the University Hohenheim together with the DLG in Germany.
It uses camera to follows the maize row and can navigate between the rows even if some portion of maize row is damaged. It can measure the moisture level of soil and can irrigate the field according to the measured data.
This video is taken indoor so we have used a water on red box to provide moisture.
Team of three member worked on it. Samrat Gautam, To Hai and Tran Phu Long. It was constructed in HAMK University of Applied Sciences, Valkeakoski, Finland.
