Purusottomopur is a small village sandwiched between the famous Mandarmani Beach and Pichaboni Estuary. The uniqueness of this place is the carpet of red crabs that spreads all along the beach. The number is so huge that people call it the 'lal-kakra beach' ('red-crab beach').
