Foreign visitors to China are now finding it easier to exchange money while traveling in the country.

According to the People's Bank of China, tourists can now exchange foreign currencies for Chinese renminbi at more than 67,000 banking outlets, 4,200 foreign exchange facilities and 320,000 ATMs in locations like airports, shopping malls and tourist spots across the country.

Data shows that in the first half of this year, China received nearly 15 million foreign travelers, up nearly 153 percent year on year.
