Having the header not transparent on hover in Shopify is really important and its better to avoid a transparent header on hover because its a potential loss of functionality.
Headers often contain important elements such as the store logo, navigation menu, search bar and cart icon, these elements need to be easily visible and accessible at all times for a seamless user experience.
With a transparent header on hover, these elements may become less visible or even disappear entirely making it difficult for users to navigate your Shopify store.
Also having a background color in Shopify header on hover simply looks good and it adds a touch of interactivity and liveliness to your Shopify store, making it more engaging for users.
