This is the vocal version of "Dear You", performed by Yuduki. This song is played in the visual novel during Shion's chapter. This version is based on the official vocal version of the song titled "you (2014再ミックス Thanks you Ver.) (feat. 癒月)".

About the cover:

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni brought me deep into the horror / mystery / thriller genre, and remains my most favorite of those genres to date. The way that the show presents itself is epic, it's so brutal yet so fragile, and I feel like this song perfectly sums up the fragility in the series. This song has this feeling of really missing someone, the feeling of living a heartbroken life and keeps going.

This is my first YouTube cover done semi-outdoors! The sun is the best source of lighting there is, with perfect color rendering index. The view out my balcony somewhat reminds me of Hinamizawa Village.

I wanted to do a more polished arrangement before making the sheet music as this song is one of my highest priorities, which means they're coming really soon so stay tuned!
