This video shows you how set up spawn sack with 2" weighted bobber. You must use split shot when you are using a single hook (weightless hook). Split shot will keep the baits or spawn sacks dangling down and to control the bait balance when the bait flows its the current. The split shot will help control certain motion in the water. For example, the bait can move or bounce up and down because the split shot will help keep floating the same directions. Split shots will be used depends on the current of the water. You might use heavier split shots in the strong current of water, but you can use small split shot when the current is not strong and so the bait also play a rol as the weight too depend how big the eggs you or any other kind of bait you use.
Insert the line through the hole of bobber and
Insert the line through the hole of weight And
Insert the weight inside the bobber to prevent the bobber sliding down
Tie you hook Knote the one you like the most
Dont use split shot if you use hook with weight such as jighead. You only can add the split shot if you feel that jighead or bait was too light because you want your bait to stay above the bottom at least from 5" to 10", but sometimes you will hit the shallow spots. If you use Raven bobber, you can have the same set up.
