Mount Loay is a mountain located in Municipality of Sta. Cruz in the Province of Davao del Sur, with an elevation of 1,040 MASL. Climbing starts at the Loay junction, near the bridge along the national highway. You hike on a paved road for a warm-up, until it ends about a kilometer away. The total trekking distance is 4 to 5 kilometers to reach the camp site. It takes 2.5 hours to reach the summit in a fast pace trekking and 4 to 5 hours for a slow pace trekking. I won't recommend this mountain for beginners because most part of the trail are steep. Good Day to everyone, Enjoy your hike.
