Today I’ve got the Jordan 4 RM. The internet has had its opinions, but you might change your mind. This is the Jordan 4 RM Black/Tan but the model debuts with the Jordan 4 RM x Nigel Sylvester collab on July 20th, and these release later this month or early August for $150.

Nike hasn’t explained what RM stands for, but it feels like a mix of Jordan 4 and Nike SB Dunk. The midsole is identical to the Jordan 4, and the upper features nice suede and soft leather, though creasing can be an issue.

The biggest change is the rubber cage on a ballistic nylon base, adding structure and lace attachment points. Theres a mini pull tab and Nike Air branding. The beefy ankle area and padded tongue add comfort, making them feel better than regular Jordan 4s. Swapping the oval laces for flat ones looks good, but I prefer the black oval ones.

The materials and feel surprised me—they’re well-made for the price. They look good with straight fit or baggier pants and shorts. For sizing, go with your usual Jordan 4 size.
