Titles read: "CONVOY TO RUSSIA".

North Sea (?).

Various shots of a convoy of ships heading from northern Scotland towards ports in northern Russia. C/U of a map showing the route the convoy will take to Murmansk. The ships are carrying cargoes of war material from British factories.

Naval ships accompanying the merchant ships are at standby for attack. Several shots of the crew; they look very cold and we there is a light snow flurry. As night falls the convoy comes under attack from the air and the barrage of ships guns open fire. Convoy continues on its way.
