What are the documents required for KSEB ownership change?

Identity Proof of the new owner (Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Aadhar, PAN card etc. can be used for this) is required. Passport size photo (soft copy), document proving the ownership of the building (Ownership certificate, Possession certificate, Landtax receipt etc...) and the consent letter of the old owner if the existing security deposit amount is to be used are required for KSEB ownership change.

How to change KSEB ownership online

For this visit the website of KSEB. (The link is given at the bottom.) Click on the Online Services button given on the right side. Since you are a new user in KSEB's web self service, you need to register on this website. For this, click on the New user registration link below User Login. Register new user by entering consumer number, last 5 digits of bill number, a new user id, password, your full name, email id and mobile number in the form "Register new user".
Then enter your User ID and Password in the user login section and login.
Then click on the ownership change link under Bills and services. Click on Apply now button against the consumer number to be changed. Type of ownership, Reason for transfer, Nature of transfer, Name of applicant, Status of applicant, Address, Pincode, village, Local body, Survey number, Building number, Email id, Phone number and click confirm button.
In the document upload section, upload Proof of Identity, Passport size photo of applicant, Proof of ownership, Consent for transfer of security deposit. Then click on the confirm button. Then make payment of Rs.159/- which comes as normal fees.
After uploading and submitting original documents including fee receipt directly to KSEB.
