“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.” These lines from the poem “The Road not taken” by Robert Frost can very much relate to the Journey of our speaker Er. Tejveer Singh Anand who after his engineering degree took a path which is less traveled by doing M.S (Research) at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, in Forensic Nano-engineering (explosive sensing) soon after completing that he entered his Ph.D. from IIT Delhi. From back to back degrees, till his interdisciplinary stint, we are here with yet another Engineering Story.

Tejveer during his graduation from NIT Surat came to know that his interest lies outside the core electrical engineering and he knew that his inclination lies in the basic sciences and material sciences, to explore it further he took the tough call of pursuing his masters in core basic science course i.e. MS in research from renowned National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar. Tejveer was very much clear about his career choices, he wanted to keep his research momentum, so he gave GATE for admission in IITs and IISc for PhD. and got an opportunity from IIT Delhi.

In today's video, he will guide all the aspirants on how one should go about choosing interdisciplinary fields and what are the advantages & disadvantages for the same.
He also shared his experience from the field of research, where he also put emphasis on quality that a researcher should have.
