Singapore Reits have been hit badly in terms of share prices. US Reits in particular have be greatly hit with historical actions such as dividend suspension being done on Reits such as Manulife US Reit(BTOU), Keppel Pacific Oak US Reit(CMOU) and Prime US Reit(OXMU).

With the high interest rate and Bank Term Lending Program coming to an end in the US, this puts the US reits in a much worse situation. They have to deal with falling property valuation and difficulty of refinancing debts.

Therefore there are lessons to learn when it comes to investing in reits as there are external factors that might unexpected hit these reits. We will look at the earnings call to see what are the reasons behind the main actions by the management
