Resep Cumi Goreng Tepung. Cumi goreng tepung merupakan salah satu menu favorit banyak orang karena teksturnya yang renyah dan rasanya gurih. Selain menjadi camilan, sajian ini juga cocok untuk teman makan nasi. Anak-anak dijamin suka!

Resep Cumi Goreng Tepung (untuk 3-4 porsi)

Bahan:
300 gr cumi
1 sdt garam
1 sdt baking powder

Tepung pelapis:
⅓ butir putih telur
5 sdm / 40 gr tepung terigu protein sedang
5 sdm / 40 gr maizena / tapioka
½ sdm bubuk bawang putih / 2 siung bawang putih parut
1 sdm kecap inggris / kecap asin + jeruk nipis
1 sdt bubuk paprika / bubuk cabai (opsional)
¼ sdt garam
¼ sdt merica
1 sdt kaldu jamur / penyedap

Tepung kering:
120 gr tepung terigu protein sedang
50 gr maizena
1 sdt baking powder
2 sdt bubuk paprika (opsional)

Lainnya:
Minyak untuk menggoreng
Jeruk nipis / lemon
Saus sambal

Langkah:
1. Cuci bersih cumi lalu potong badan cumi menjadi seperti ring / persegi panjang sesuai selera
2. Belah kepala cumi jangan sampai putus
3. Campurkan cumi dengan baking powder dan garam kemudian aduk hingga berbuih lalu diamkan selama 20-30 menit.
4. Setelah 20-30 menit bilas cumi hingga benar-benar bersih kemudian tiriskan
5. Campurkan cumi dengan semua bahan tepung pelapis lalu aduk rata
6. Campurkan semua bahan tepung kering di dalam mangkuk terpisah, aduk
7. Gulingkan satu persatu cumi kedalam tepung kering hingga seluruh permukaanya tertutupi
8. Panaskan minyak lalu goreng cumi dengan api besar selama 1-2 menit kemudian tiriskan
9. Sajikan cumi goreng tepung dengan saus sambal dan jeruk nipis / lemon sebagai pelengkap

Fried Calamari is many people’s favorite dish thanks to its crispy texture and savory taste. Other than a snack, this dish is also great to be eaten with rice. Children will love it!

Fried Calamari Recipe (yield: 3-4 servings)

Ingredients:
300 g squid
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder

Wet Batter:
⅓ pc egg white
5 tbsp / 40 g all-purpose flour
5 tbsp / 40 g cornstarch / tapioca flour
½ tbsp garlic powder / 2 clove grated garlic
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce / soy sauce + lime
1 tsp paprika powder / chili powder (optional)
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 tsp mushroom stock powder / flavor enhancer

Dry Coating:
120 g all-purpose flour
50 g cornstarch
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp paprika powder (optional)

Others:
Oil for frying
Lime / lemon
Chili sauce

Steps:
1. Rinse the squid thoroughly, then slice it into rings / rectangles, to your preference.
2. Spread out the head and don’t let it tear.
3. Add the baking powder and salt into the squid. Mix until it gets foamy, then let it rest for 20-30 minutes.
4. After 20-30 minutes, rinse the squid thoroughly and set aside.
5. Combine the squid with all the wet batter ingredients and mix well.
6. Combine all the dry coating ingredients and mix well.
7. Coat the squid one by one with the dry coating until all surfaces are evenly coated.
8. Heat some oil and fry the squid on high heat for 1-2 minutes. Set aside.
9. Serve the Fried Calamari with chili sauce and lime / lemon on the side.
