Today I’m building an homage to the Rolex Yacht-Master 42mm on Oyster-flex. This build happens to be a late retirement gift for a former boss of mine named Bob. I start things off a little differently this time by sticking the movement on a time-grapher to get it dialed in, before moving onto preparing the dial and setting the hands. The saga continues with me having trouble with cases but luckily after calling in a favor, we get a nice high polish finish all around for the distinctive Yacht-Master look. Finally finishing off the build with a black ceramic bezel insert and a silicon strap similar to the oyster-flex bracelet for a sporty look and feel. Even with some speed bumps the watch still came out looking great and should fit right into Bob’s lifestyle. Thanks for checking it out and I hope you enjoy the video.
