FAQs:
1) Is the patio roof flat or sloped? The roof is sloped 6in from the house to the edge of the patio. This is the lowest possible slope in accordance with building codes in our area. Though not shown in the video we install 6in flashing where the patio roof meets the fascia.

3) What color is the stain? We use Pecan by Ready Seal

4) Did you pour the concrete pad? The concrete pad was the only thing we contracted out. We had to prep it, grade it, and do the rebar ourselves. My uncle (who lives down the street) was pouring his patio the same day and he was kind enough to let me place an order for extra concrete. It saved us money since we didn't have to pay for the truck, just the concrete and labor.

5) How much did the project cost? We spent around $2K-$2.5K on the project. Most of the materials were purchased before the increase in lumber costs.
