Fishing for longnose or bottlenose SPOTTED GAR!! On a recent Kayak Hammock camping trip on the Green river I had the opportunity to do a little gar fishing. Using a homemade hookless rope lure I was able to reel in a few nice spotted gar. PLEASE, when fishing for gar with a hookless rope lure like the one I use in this video please be sure to remove all the fibers from their teeth and nose before releasing them.
