Overstressing can lead to feeling too overwhelmed to complete your tasks. Many force themselves to stress about one more thing, pull one more all-nighter, plan one more assignment. They associate taking a break with unproductivity and laziness. This toxic mindset contributes to many health problems like high blood-pressure.

In a world where humans' mental capacity is managed by two inner voices, Rest and Stress, through a computer interface, Sarah is struggling with the workload of school. Rest and Stress must decide how many tabs, which represent her immediate to-do list, stay open. Stress is overworking Sarah by opening more tabs, while Rest is desperate to close the tabs to allow Sarah to take a break lest she crash. Stress continuously overpowers Rest, opening more and more tabs, pushing Sarah towards a mental breakdown. Eventually, Sarah is on the verge of “crashing”. The only thing left to do is manually reset her, clear her tabs, mind and tasks, and allow her time to exercise self-care.

We need to reset our minds periodically and learn to be productive in healthy ways. Like how shutting down your computer is necessary to prevent lagging, humans too, require time to recharge to be productive.
