Cometh the hour, cometh the man. In his final game for Inter, Baggio bids farewell to the Nerazzurri in epic fashion, firing in a stunning brace against Parma in the playoffs for the Champions League.

His first was all about sheer precision, arguably his greatest free kick whilst the second was equally brilliant, a volley from his supposedly weaker foot outside the box. Buffon stood no chance and could only watch as he dove despairingly on both occasions.

Parma had an exceptional team boasting an iron-clad defense featuring Lilian Thuram, Fabio Cannavaro, Gianluigi Buffon and other excellent players such as Dino Baggio and Hernan Crespo but none of them had any answer to Baggio's heroics.
