Occasion : 98th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmi. Function held under the auspices of Sri Rama Lalitha Kala Mandira – Bengaluru at Sri Jayarama Seva Mandali. M.S.Subbulakshmi remembrance concert by S.Aishwarya wherein she was accompanied by Sri R.K.Shriramkumar on the violin, Sri H.S.Sudhindra on the Mridangam and Sri Srishaila on the Ghatam.

S.Aishwarya is the Great Grand Daughter of Bharat Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmi and Grand Daughter of Smt Radha Viswanathan and the disciple of Smt Jambu Kannan.

S.Aishwarya began learning Carnatic Music on Vijayadashami day of Oct 1999, when she was hardly 4 years old from her Great Grandmother Bharat Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmi and her Grand-mother Dr Radha Viswanathan. She continues to learn from her Grandmother Dr Radha Viswanathan

S.Aishwarya is also currently under the tutelage & expert guidance of Guru - Karnataka Kalashree, Vidushi Jambu Kannan who has assiduously trained Aishwarya since 2002.

Aishwarya is a Vainika too and since 2005 is continuing to learn on the Veena by Vidwan A Shankar Raman, disciple of Late Rajeshwari Padmanabhan, Grand Daughter of Karaikudi Subburama Iyer (of the illustrious Karaikudi Baani -- a unique style of Veena playing)

From her 5th to 7th year Aishwarya learnt Carnatic Vocal under the watchful eyes of Sharanya Krishnan, a disciple of Smt Suguna Purushothamam.

It was a full house at Sri Jayarama Seva Mandali – Jayanagar – Bangalore as the teenaged S.Aishwarya commenced her concert in front of an elite and also overflowing audience including amongst other her Grandmother Dr Radha Viswana-than, Vidushi Smt Neela Ramgopal and Vidushi Smt G V Neela.

S.Aishwarya prefaces the kirtana “Manavyalakin” with an alapana in Nalainakanthi. Vidwan Shriramkumar has supported Aishwarya so wonderfully well. Sri H.S.Sudhindra on the mridangam and Sri Srishaila on Ghatam have provided excellent support.
