This was a very educational hands-on training of Cathedral Stone Jahn M70 patching mortar at the Greenwood Cemetary in Brooklyn NY. The material is used to repair cracks and spalls of existing limestone units on facades of buildings. The material has been used in the industry for many decades in many historic buildings in the USA.
The training helped me understand the installation procedure, including the most important step, the "peanut butter coat". As always with most buildding materials, preparation of the substrate is the key to success.
Included in the video were the hosts Craig Schnellbacher and Michael Liguori of Cathedral Stone, and Eddie Mayas of Mayas Engineering.
I hope you enjoy the video.
