Arthur was the hope of England. The hope of the future of the Tudor dynasty. He was the physical embodiment of the joining of the houses of Lancaster and York and the end of 30 years of war. His death at tender age of 15 at Ludlow Castle brought shock, grief, and profound political consequences. Catherine of Aragon and Arthur had only been married 5 months, when when Arthur passed. Arthur Tudor, Prince of Wales was buried in Worcester Cathedral. Henry VIII was 10 years old at the time. His life and education would change dramatically and he would ascend to the throne and become King of England 7 years later and marry his brother's widow: Katherine of Aragon.
