Hi Everybody,

It's time for another archetype video. I'm going to do an unusual one today, because I'm interested in discussing our relationship to power. I will speak about the ancient gods that existed in Greece, called Titans and how we may well be in another era of Titanic power. Then, I'll take you back to modern times, because we are agents of power ourselves.

The Titans were twelve deities who fought for the forces of creation—the sky, the water, the forces of creation. They were the gods that were not approachable because the forces were greater than any human being could imagine, and they had to be defeated. Humans had to develop mythologies that could conquer and control forces that they feared were uncontrollable.

We have entered a time of titan-size power that has never existed before. Nuclear weapons are titanic power, and these myths represent our power and capacity to interact and influence those forces of creation.

There is nothing small about your power as a human being, nothing. The power attributed to the gods is now finding its way into our blood, bones, and psyche. So, I decided to bring a little archetypal myth into everyday practical thinking because this is a time of titanic challenges, and you're a part of that.
