How to upgrade your Cat fuel system on a Ram 3500/2500 Cummins 6.7 for the best fuel filtration.

I have a 2016 Ram 3500 DRW 4x4 and I was looking for the best fuel filter and found that the OEM replacements were all about the same filtration rating and expensive ($138 for the fuel filters) so I kept looking for a better filter with no luck. After completing my first fuel filter change I learned why the "stealership" charges so much... It's a pain in the BUTT. Then I found some videos about replacing my standard fuel filtering system with a Cat spin on filter and I was instantly SOLD. But I still wasn't fully satisfied and knew there had to be something else out there so I dove down the rabbit hole of information and found that the 1R-0749 is essentially a larger 1R-0750. The 1R-0749 is 10" vs the 1R-0750 is 8" so I took a tape measure to ensure I wasn't wasting my time and to my pleasure it fit!! If you have already replaced your system with the cat fuel system,fass fuel system, or air dog fuel system this will also fit for you.
