Another trip to a place I have never been before. This trip was to Swan Lake near Copano bay, just West of Rockport, Texas. I was equipped with a small top water (Skitterwalk) and my old faithful Chicken Boy Bubba Clucker. I explored the marsh area, but the only luck I had was in Swan Lake proper. I sight casted a couple of black drum, missed a couple of redfish on top water and saw a multitude of different bird species on this trip. I met Grant from South Texas Outdoor at he launch and he was nice enough to give me some soft plastics he makes so I can try them out. He is a super nice guy and puts together some great content on his YouTube channel    / @southtexasoutdoor5484  . Thanks Grant! I will let you know how they do for me.

Paddle Time, Route and Distance - I launched at Swan Lake Kayak Launch paddled the length of Swan Lake and into the marsh complex. 9 hours on the water 8.5 miles pedaled. Some of this was push poling as the water was very shallow.
