This is the second soft pastel piece in a series of 5 that I am painting for an upcoming exhibition. The series is called Magic in the Mundane and I will be focusing on everyday scenes that have a bit of magic sprinkled in, that upon first glance may have been overlooked. The painting is called "After Desert" and is on an 18x24 sheet of La Carte Pastel Card and soft pastel as the medium. In this piece, I predominantly use Unison pastels and Terry Ludwig soft pastels.
