There are several ways that you can turn pixel art into quilts. Our new patterns were made after we commissioned work from a pixel artist. (For full disclosure - he is a "good guy" relative.) It was fun to realize that if we wanted a specific pattern we could tell him what we wanted and he would make us a piece of pixel art. (Art using only squares.) We then spent some fun hours making that art into a quilt pattern to make beautiful Pixel Art Quilts. (3 of them!)

In the video, we demonstrate putting one of them together with the steps we took. We also show the other two quilts that we commissioned. They are all patterns for sale on our website.

We also tell you how to create your own pixel art so that you can make up your own patterns if you want to. It's such a fun, creative way to play with fabric, color, and design.
