How to take #screenshots, enter hidden green menu, check FEC/SWaP codes, enable debug overlays and more in Volkswagen Discover Media #MIB2 infotainment system in Volkwagen Golf MK7. This headunits is running SW: 0245 but these hidden developer features are also available in other software versions and should be available in other Infotainment systems like Discover Pro and Composition Media installed in various VAG cars.
After enabling developer mode with ‪@OBDeleven-Official‬ (instructions below) you can reboot the #VW Discover Infotainment system and then use developer debug functions.
For example to tak screenshot make sure that there's an SD card in SD1 port and the card is not read-only. Then press and hold MEDIA button for 2 seconds and wait for a sound confirmation, then release the button. There will be a screenshot placed on the SD1 card.
