Professional U-matic video equipment gives vastly better performance when connected to a Digital Timebase Corrector with the proper Dub cables. But here in the UK, it seems to be impossible to buy either the cables or even the Hirose RM12BPE-7S(71) type socket connectors to make them up. The RM12BPE-7PH(71) plug however is still obtainable, and the chassis mount sockets are just about obtainable, or could be scrapped from old machines. So could we make the required super-rare connector by swapping parts over with what we can still obtain? It wouldn't be easy.

I am absolutely not offering to make these up, but you could get some good pointers on how to do it yourself. More information has come to light about pins 3 and 4. They could potentially carry and R-Y signal and the ground side is Pin 4.
