We were excited to get to film in Arlington National Cemetery with our friend and fellow history fan, JD of The History Underground. Arlington House was open for the first time in a couple years so we jumped on the opportunity to take a tour and explore all of the history there.

Seward had given Lee's application to a friend as a souvenir, and the State Department had pigeonholed the oath. More than a hundred years later, in 1970, an archivist at the National Archives discovered Lee's Amnesty Oath among State Department records"
