Mark Brooks captured his first and only major championship at the 1996 PGA Championship held at Valhalla Golf Club, thanks in large part to making two clutch birdies on the par-5 18th hole. Brooks made birdie in regulation to force a playoff, and then made birdie again in the playoff to win the 1996 PGA Championship at Valhalla.

In this video, 2nd Swing's Drew Mahowald is joined by Mark Brooks in the 2nd Swing Fitting Bay at the PGA Coaching Center. Drew and Mark discuss the important 18th hole at Valhalla, which was significant at the 1996 PGA Championship and is poised to be significant at the 2024 PGA Championship.
