Nasreen Sheikh, Founder and CEO, Locwom.org

The circumstances of Nasreen Sheikh's life have allowed her to witness many heart-breaking events, including human rights violations against women and children, slavery & suffering in corporate sweatshops as a child laborer, and having to escape forced marriage.

Nasreen was able to turn her life around and started Local Women's Handicrafts, a non-profit dedicated to teaching women skills so that they can support themselves and their families.
