World famous Cape Kri. Known for the world record by Dr. Mark Erdmann who counted 374 different species of fish in one dive. However, this does not mean that this is necessarily the most biodiverse reef on earth. It is simply a record set by an individual in a discipline that not many people do, fish counting. No matter Cape Kri is breathtaking. I have dived here almost a hundred times. On some days the cape can even be a little disappointing, depending on the conditions. But on good days you have a fish soup that is second to none in the world. In addition, at 40 m you almost have a guarantee to find what is perhaps the largest school of sweet lips worldwide. Hundreds of these animals gather here in formations that astonish the viewer. One of the biggest attractions in Raja Ampat!
