Diligence and bravery, resilience and loyalty, responsibility and deep respect for history—these inherent qualities of the peoples of China and Uzbekistan form the foundation of their unbreakable bond. For millennia, the Silk Road was not just a trade route but a true link between East and West, allowing for the establishment of friendly relations, mutually beneficial cooperation, and cultural enrichment. Following centuries-old traditions of good-neighborliness and mutual understanding, Uzbek-Chinese relations today are strengthening daily, becoming a bright example of fruitful partnership in the modern world.

To deepen cultural and humanitarian ties between China and Uzbekistan, on September 18, 2024, a festive concert titled “Charming Silk Road” by the Gansu Dance Theater was held at the “Buyuk Samarkand” restaurant within the “Eternal City” complex of the “Silk Road Samarkand” tourist center. The concert was dedicated to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the strong bonds of friendship between China and Uzbekistan. The event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the P.R.C. to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Yu Jun, as an honorary guest.
