R&D Adventures are in the Bay of Plenty town of Whakatane where we stay at the Awakeri Hot Springs campground. Naturally we have a swim there before exploring Whakatane, with highlights of Muriwai's Cave, the Vertigraph steps, The House That Came Home, White Pine Bush gumboot fence and Ohope Beach to name a few.
