Viana do Alentejo is a hidden gem of the Alentejo. It has one of the most emblematic works of the reign of D. João II, one of the most important examples of the Manueline style with Mudejar influence. Usually the photos do not do justice to the beauty of the interior of this residential castle, and when we visited it, we were dazzled. Seeing it from the outside is not enough, you have to go inside.
