After a few years in the festival circuit, honeyheart is publicly online for the first time! I made this stop-motion animated film during my senior year at the Rhode Island School of Design. It was a very difficult and personal project, but now I feel like I can look back on it with pride and fondness- I hope you enjoy!
A big thanks to all the festivals that screened this film, especially those where I got to go in person and meet so many cool people and participate in panels. It was such a great way to enter the world of filmmaking!

Nestled in her cozy tree trunk home, a bird is going about her day when a wild honeybee flies into her house. The small but startling encounter unfolds into an intense, tumultuous journey of anxiety, fear, and self-acceptance.
