This song - a collaboration between me and another producer named BeatsByStixx - started life in December 2022 while I was in Minnesota. Though Stixx was heavily involved in figuring out the melody and structure of the chorus as well as the bassline, I ultimately continued and finished the track myself from the comfort of my own home.

"State of Madness" is a New Jack Swing-inspired track that follows Fern's thoughts as she wakes up in the Hospital for the first time.
