Installation, testing and review of a ‪@Hydrovane‬ Self-Steering System on our Beneteau Oceanis 40. This is one of the biggest projects we have completed while upgrading our Beneteau for longer offshore passages. We have included some footage captured offshore testing the Hydrovane and learning how to operate it. Altogether the Hydrovane is the perfect piece of equipment for our boat and we are very pleased with it's performance.

Apologies in advance for some microphone interference, we have tried our best to fix it but if anyone has any ideas how to remove it please let us know.

A couple from Australia and Norway who set sails from Norway on a Beneteau Oceanis 40 in late 2018 to explore the world by sailboat. (Yup, another sailing couple doing the standard route and documenting it on film.)
