How to choose a grafted scion
・ Due to the predominant nature of apical buds, buds are more likely to emerge at the top of the branches.
・ However, note that the peaks are easier to dry.
-Use branches of the same size (diameter) as the rootstock (match the cambium).
・ Use healthy scion.
・ Upward branches are better.
・ Straight branches are easier to process.

Scion processing
・ Two buds are used, but one is acceptable.
・ Wrap a graft tape (New Medale tape) to prevent it from drying out.
・ To prevent drying, the tape may be wrapped only at the cut end.
・ Do not wrap tape around the buds.
・ When making a cut with a knife, pay attention to the position of the buds.

Regarding grafting.
・ It is important to match the cambium of the scion and rootstock.
・ In the case of open fields, the scion may move due to wind or rain, so tap it firmly.
・ Shade to avoid direct sunlight.
・ Do not do it on rainy days.
・ Do not sprinkle water after grafting.
・ Please remove the buds of the rootstock.
・ You may leave about one with insurance.
・ Be sure to sharpen the knife for grafting.
