Central Window Systems is proud to announce the introduction of QR codes on our PVCu Products starting February 2024.

What is a QR Code?
A QR code, also short for ‘quick response’ code, is a black and white, square-shaped image that provides access to more information.

Why are we using them?
They offer a quick route to information for people with smartphones – which are generally devices that are used daily. This method enables us to share detailed information about the product easily in one place.

People can scan the QR codes with their smartphones to learn more about a product or service. In our case, our PVCu Windows and doors

How do you use them?
The QR Code will be located on the inside of your window or door, on the outer frame, when you open the sash.

You simply open your smartphone and, using the camera function on the phone, hover over the QR Code. This will then give you a link to the information.

What information will be available will I be able to see about the product?
Once the link is opened, you will immediately see information about the product and the order details. This will include the style, colour and basic sizes of the product.

Click on the menu button, and you will be able to see more details, including the hardware and glass sizes and specifications. This information is ideal should a replacement glass unit be required in the future and save time.

Further down the menu is a “Links” button. This will give you more information and some useful “How-to” videos. The links include…..

BFRC Energy Rating information – FENSA/CERTASS could potentially need this information when conducting an inspection.
Simulations for products – Useful for U Values and, again, helpful for inspections.
“How to” videos and Care Guides for the products.

For a full demonstration of the product, please see the video.
