DaltNews is a YouTube Channel of Daltonganj Catholic Diocese, comprises of three government administrative districts–Palamau, Garhwa and Latehar. It is situated in the north west corner of the newly formed Jharkhand state. It is spread out over 12747.59 Km2(4920 Sq.Mi).
The Channel presents Gospel Values through -
a) Pastoral Activities - Holy Mass/ Daily Bible Readings, Reflections, Sunday Liturgical Psalms & Religious Hymns in Local Language - Hindi, Sadri, Khurukh & others.
b) Social Activities - distributions of rations, educational items, blankets and rickshaws etc.
c) Cultural, educational, medical and other ministries -Tribal Dances & Songs, Music, Feast days Celebrations.
Our goal is to Integrate the faithful into the liturgical, pastoral, and ministerial life, preserving and responding the local Tribal culture and traditions and fostering healthy gospel values & life skills by a process of self-evangelization and witnessing Christ by upholding the dignity and rights of all.
