It’s so sweet to see Jer in between wake and sleep smiling so much. He got up excited and we used an older sounding board app to communicate during morning care. He wasn’t impressed as usual about brushing teeth but he was a good sport for his affirmations which I shared earlier.

After grooming his nails we headed to Speech with Ms Julie. He did well using his device. The beautiful moment was when he actually colored using the dot markers. It was like an aha moment for sure. After a body part activity he headed upstairs and has swing time with Ms Katie as they worked on his hands using clothes pins. Once home,he read with Ms Halie, used his device to choose colors and even did a craft. We did tummy time, letters and he ignored JJ for numbers. Finally he is up and in bed, loudly talking but hopefully sleep soon.

Today we pray that you have those aha moments in faith where it clicks that the best thing you can do is trust God. May you wake up excited and thankful every day for the beautiful gift of life. May we never forget that God is good yesterday, today, tomorrow and forevermore.
